Warm and Simple is one of my favorite sweaters. Part of the reason
is the stitch. I call it a 'dot stitch'. It gives a very simple
sweater a touch of texture.
I have long wanted to redo this sweater in a lighter yarn. The
original, as pictured, was done in a bulky weight yarn for speed
knitting. The same sweater done in a light silk, dk, worsted,
or light cotton would make a comfortable, yet classy garment.
